Grey are the clouds that hover above
Choking on pent up tears
Dark blue,the feeling that comes without love
The loneliness when you're not here
Purple and gold are the sunsets
That I sit alone with here everyday
Bright yellow and soft orange rise every morn
The reminder,you're so far away
White Sparkles on velvet,a starry night
Perfect for lovers,maybe you and I
Lost in the darkness,I search for your light
As my wishes fall fast from the sky
Soft pink is the smile you have given
It shows in my eyes,of dark brown
Dark is the shadow of sadness
When you're gone,the black comes around
Mauve is the shade of my soul
Soothed and relaxed with your mind
Green is the grass where in dreams we lie
Blue,red and purple entwined
Colours of you through my system
A kaleidoscope of tears and smiles
Holder of the proverbial pot'o'gold
You're my rainbow of every emotion,worthwhile

Maybe then your poem

Even though there are few colours
