Sambil menyapu
Catnya yang berwarna-warni
Pada kanvas riwayatnya-

-membancuh warna minyak
atau campuran krayon dan kapurnya
dicurahkan menjadi ciptaan yang halus lagipun berseri-

-sama ada berjinak-jinak
menguasai semangat batu marmar
yang tidak mengendah antau mengira masa-

-atau mencungkil bakatnya
dalam potongan dan pahatan
ukiran karyanya yang menitiskan ilham:

dia membawa aku
ke suatu tempat yang ku belum kenali
namun ingin menerokai semua rahsianya.
