ah, to be young and free
beautiful and light
breathing fresh happiness
bleeding pure love
longing to be more
this is what I am
this is what want to be
free as a lightning bug
on a warm summer night
free as a virgin's heart
filled with love and lust
I wish to be painless
weightless here on earth
for a moment I am
for a moment I can fly
to anywhere, everywhere
and now I must sleep
till the sun warms my skin
until warm arms hold me
until tomorrow
until tomorrow

| I really like this one... pleasant but not exciting images create a relaxed, snug feeling in the reader. Great write. You may want to take a second look at line 7 though and re-submit. Your buddy, Butterat Zool. |
