Not knowing your emotions
Or how youll respond
I play down my own
And try to carry on

I see hope in your eyes
And the same in mine
I ponder the thought
That all we need is time

Insecure and irrational
Thoughts in my mind
Wondering if youre thinking
Ideas of the same kind

The anxiety is maddening
With each minute that I dwell
Needing assurance of your love
For your feelings I cannot tell

love and anxiety often go together, especially at the begining of a relationship. Talking together will put these doubts to the back of your mind.
