Elusive Lines Of Poetry

Contributed by Bizzy on Wednesday, 10th September 2003 @ 12:05:00 AM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

From dreams,
they wakened me,...
lovely one-lined thoughts in poetry...
and truths, profound,
heard only flittingly.
I tried to grasp them in my mind,
but impossibly.
In the hope of something
I could understand,
I hoped to see
and let the words expand.
Clearly,
they were here,
but briefly;
now, totally,
they are gone again.
I sensed their essence was Divine;
glorious scenes of nature, earthly,
and Heaven.
Could they have lingered a little while,
I'd have caught them within my pen
and on holy paper,
flowed them out again,
each elusive,
wise and lovely...
sacred line.

Oh my yes, Buzzy dear.
That's when most of the thoughts I write down come to me loud and clear!
Early morn after a good nights rest!
Pen and legal pad always my best!
Fleeting moments are gone in one second....like listening to a cricket strum just once....then it is gone!
Oh how I loved this poem. The Essence of poetry....that special sacred feeling that only we feel, almost steal from those precious moments that aren't really real!
Wonderful poem, Buzzy, Just Wonderful....
You too are so real!
