It's been a while since the words have flowed
But finally my head is cooperating.
The last few months have been hell, I'll admit
But now I'm in control of who I am becoming.
Mistakes still happen,
God knows I make my share
But life is full of chances to be taken
Not every path I take will be right
I must take everyday as a new chance
I must take every mistake as a new challenge
Slowly but surely the sun will rise
Slowly but surely my tears will fade
I am no longer afraid.
Instead, I embrace the hard times
Teach me well, my friend
You are my experience.
