his eyes dark with sorrow
hidden meanings laced across his chest
holding him in this one place
where he cannot escape
the aching heart she makes for him
with her delicate lies woven in webs
intricate patterns of her deceit
branding him with every kiss
until he closes his eyes to her
unable to see her as she is
decides that he can live with it
as long as she spoon feeds him
the love he is so hungry for
she manufactures love for him
with her sly concoctions
soothing potions and pretty words
he wakes up in furious denial
in time to see her eyes closing
so she wont have to look at him
