Memories collecting dust are
Put down on paper
Once written the words become
Tamper proof, inalterable
Words shot to paper
Like ink bullets at paper targets
Pencilled barbed wire fantasies
Pennied ideas and delusions and words
We'd never say
All become reality on paper
Books survive, words live on
And we live to write another day
