So I was thinking
about Dragonflies
on my way home today
with their brilliant blue
as they danced on the water
and watched over us
sitting there on the shore.
I was thinking that Dragonflies
seem to know
where to find magic
and thrive off of it
with their beautiful colours
it is no surprise
to me
that they found us
sitting
on the shore
lost in each others thoughts
and they know something
that we don't
but why not take the time
and find an answer
that we have been searching for
since we met
that day in August
when the Dragonflies found us.

| this is nice... I had a similar experience with a hovering monarch butterfly.... it's true sometimes you wonder if they know where the magic lives. :) good write. |
