Dangerously In Love

Contributed by Ruby1987 on Tuesday, 16th September 2003 @ 08:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

She couldn't think, She couldn't cry,
The sun had exchanged shifts with the rains,
So she embraced the icy cold winds and inhaled,
She held him tight but she could feel him slipping

The bullet pierced deep within his heart,
And with the rain his blood trickled down the sidewalk,
Through his eyes she saw his life un-write itself,
And she listened to his lips stutter the words "to dangerously in love"

Ashamed parents pulled her away from him,
For she brang disgrace to their religon and name,
She watched as he fell to a side and closed his eyes,
He died fighting to be with her he was ****** Dangerouly in love

Unable to put her murderer of a father behind bars,
She tried to press on with her meaningless life,
4 days into her arranged marriage she found her fathers gun,
7 hours later she was descovered dead on a young mans grave

She was dangerously in love

Powerful stuff that love, they should put it in a perfume bottle and only let people have little sniffs- almost a catergory A drug!

Excellent write.
