I thought that I could fight
The urge I had to feel you last night
I tried so hard to keep my distance
I swear I tried, but there was no resistance
I didnt want to hold you
Knowing you were leaving left me feeling blue
However, being near you must have been too much
No matter the consequence, I had to feel your touch
When you pulled me near
Ill admit there was some fear
I will never forget how soft and sweet you kiss
The way I felt was complete bliss
Now here I am just wishin
That tonight it was you I was kissin
Wondering if I was closer, would you feel the same?
These are foolish thoughts, and I have only myself to blame.
