How feelings change....

You Took that step to talk to me,
You put ur feelings in my hands,
i took one step back though,
afraid u wouldn't understand.

that feeling suddenly changed,
while time grew more and more,
i simply shifted gears,
and wanted to see what was in store.

I managed to leap forward,
instead of little steps at a time,
then before i knew it
you were now all mine.

But just like it all started,
the feelings tend to change,
my life just seemed so different,
and things got real strange.

And once again, like the beginning,
We take our steps away from what we had,
and when i thought i had lost everything,
i realize that its realli not that bad.
