There you were, prowling A devil cloaked in human skin Your dark eyes smoulder with passion Only too late i realised it wasn't Honey flowed when your lips parted With naivete I believed, feeling light-hearted Dizzy in the tangles of love You were my diamond in the rough But no more, am I blinded by your smoke screen I've seen the deceit concealed within I cringe at your touch Your forced kisses I despise so much And yet...I can't let go Am I masochistic? I do not know So, in silence I suffer Riveted towards the pain you offer I can't escape from your neverending lies Killing me softly, slowly with your fatal disguise
