I don't know how to thank you
What a good friend you've been
You've listened when no one else has
And you try to understand
For this I owe you everything
And thank you for taking my hand
While leading me out of the dark
And into the light again
You know so much about me
But I know my secrets are safe
I haven't known you all that long
But you stand by me so strong
Thank you for accepting me
Exactly how I am
I admire how you love me
Knowing how I am
