Electrical impulses move through the brain
Senses awakened, by pleasure not pain
A head on my shoulder, a touch of the hand
Shocked at the feeling, but feeling quite grand
Adrenalin pumping, incredible rush
Quickening heartbeat, because of this crush
Feeling alive in the senses again
But being afraid it might get out of hand
Racing emotions, a want for a kiss
God only knows I never dreamed of this
Its either there or its not, and I know its there
From each brush of the fingers, or casual stare
Being on guard, but wanting to see
Just where this crush is taking me
