Hard To See Clearly

Contributed by LovingWhispers on Tuesday, 23rd September 2003 @ 03:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: ApologyPoetry

An apology I make to you all,for not commenting much of late
But it's hard to read through my falling tears,in this emotional state
I start to peruse the many lines, yet I can't seem to take them in
Then all gets blurred,I'm lost, not knowing where each line ends or begins

As most of you know,I'm not very well,my heart is laden with pain
And I thank you all for your thoughtfulness, time and time again
Its a slap to the face to find someone, then have to let them go
'Cause I finally found the perfect love, one I never thought I'd know

But it's not a matter of love broken, nothing needs to be fixed
Its just that the needs of others come first, namely all our kids
As I write these words of my life,I am held by the strength of words
That are spoken straight from the heart, from voices Ive never heard

I'm talking about my dear fellow poets, friends on this incredible site
Who keep me company, give good advice, and inspire me with their writes
So please take this heartfelt apology,it's not that I dont keep you near
It's just that its hard to see through,my every falling tear.......

Lovingwhispers you need not fear.....
for we never judge....but with a tear....
we wish you so much happiness....
and so little duress.....
If only we could take your pain...
I can't think of one here that would turn that down....
W'd all do it for you, without even a frown.
Please be very kind to yourself dear....
And know that we will never leave you....
we'll always be just as near,
as a direct email to your heart .... no matter how far!
Warm Love with many hugs and prayers!
Lovingcritters
ConSue
