Devote your life
Believe in him
He gave us life
He gave us his son
He gave us the world
But just in case
An Earthquake strikes
A murderer escapes
A baby dies
A grown man cries
There's always one escape.
He loves us
But its all our fault
The gift of freewill
The glory of freedom
He blessed us with
We should be grateful.
After all,
A rapist chose to live his life
A peidophile chose his
A cold blooded killer born each day
A cancer spreads to kids
The bless'ed gift he gave us, this.
Thank you lord
You should pray
For handing out
From day to day
The gift we all have in common
Free will.
But may I just ask one thing
In prayer form, of course
Why is it that you never speak?
You never intervene
On the planet that you care for so
You let killers go.
You watch the innocent ripped apart
You watch disease spread
You give life to those who take it
You watch the victims, dead
You allow a man
Who killed a girl
Raped her to begin
Then slowly tortured her young body
Filling it with sin
You allow him to be forgivin
No matter what he did?
Is it that you care for us?
By giving us this gift?
Allowing all forgivness
Blessing us with this
Or is it that, this book so old
Is just a contradiction
Constantly unapplicable
But dragging people in
"You follow me
And i will give you
An eternal life
If your scared of death
Then this is for you
You land in paradise"
A wild guess
I will choose
To take with my free will
That God is not
A force unseeable
You should believe is true
He is a creation of the human mind
Who are scared of what awaits them
What they will find.
