From affar

We talk we laugh we cry - from affar
like I am here, you next to me
to feel you, touch you, even see
tell you the sweetest things, silly things - nice things

We met online, you just said "Howdy"
such a funny girl I thought
so happy, nice, and that accent!
I liked you from first encounter - special

So many world wide friends I have - I love
but you're the one who makes me hear
shares with me, cares for me
you tell me you love me - you think of me

When I am down, so low to feel never rise
my mobile sings and I see text from you
"hey, what's wrong, c'mon, cheer up"
I smile, wipe away a tear - feel you near

It goes the same from me to you
while at work I get the feel, you need me
send text, nice words, get reply.."hey, how'd ya know!"
you had a tear, I felt my dear - I know

Can this be true, that two..me you
do know yes feel each other's thoughts?
It can't be chance, this happens most every day
we even speak in thought, clear, loud - so near

So my darling, do I need to say? -but will anyway
I love you, adore you from affar
my friend of friends, the friend I love, I feel
you are here in my arms, though miles away - stay

You silver, me gold..entwined high in glorious sky
seeing, dreaming, loving, sharing, caring
know your hand will be held by my own for eternity
without you there, would I be here - who knows?

So my darling, loving and true, dream of us
know you are loved so dearly, so clearly
I'll wait with eyes eager to see
those words of happy love - tween thee and me

very lovely again... i like the way you write... i normally don't like "long" poetry... but i like yours

i am also in a relationship like that... i met my gf online... and it has been 1 year and 7 months already... we aren't going to meet until april or may... unless some miracle happens

sometimes we both think the same way... we tried calling each other at the EXACT same time twice within the past week.... i went to pick up the phone to call her.... and she was trying to call me at the same time.. i couldn't hear the dial tone so i just said "hello" and she was there.... it was a very nice sign that we were both thinking the same thing at the same time... thats one of the reasons why i think we are meant to be together...
