the first time I fell so hard
I crashed into the moon and stars
even now the memory soars
above all others in my heart
and he is still beloved to me
of heart and soul he tasted first
the kiss that tempted fate
to trace and touch the man
he held me in lovers embrace
and every breath filled with awe
at this new and sublime place
he took me with gentle touch
into this state of womanly grace
and I remember him in fondness
far and above his love for me
the first time I fell so hard
I crashed into the moon and stars
