Gaze in the water, So deep and blue. Search your thoughts, You'll find you.
Whatever you need, In your way of life, Be it fame, Be it a wife.
Look so deep, In the water's soul. Search your heart, Find your goul.
Your fate to come, A head what lay's. Could build a future, With thoughts that day.
So look deep, But best beware, Of the Image, That returns your stare.

This poem doesn't get the credit it deserves. I think it's just simply lovely. I find myself staring into a certain some one's eyes far too often. But the thing is I wouldn't know what to do if my stares were ever returned. You said that so well in the last stanza. This actually reminds me of my first poem ever on this site. You should look it up. It's called Two Pools (Kyles Eyes). It has the same theme.
Any ways, I love this poem for this reason- it's short and sweet, but it gets the point across beautifully. It's true- when you look into a person's eyes, you can see into their soul.
Great job.
Love Joy and Peace,
