Cold winter tears I cry Your name I hear in every sigh And every tear drop leaves a stain Like drops of rain on our windowpane
Cold wind blows through those wounded walls And sings along my desperate calls Shattering the silence thats in my mind But silence still I hide behind
Cold chill still I feel inside When hopes of love for me have died Yet dyed on your face is life But died in my heart the love of my wife
And cold winter is my heart Abandoned since we were apart Now I long for summer days For you and I, for another phase
But in wintertime no sun shall rise Only hope of warmth and butterflies Love seems seasoned for you and I So until spring ...let's kiss goodbye
