The leaf, falls from the tree. It sits solomn, Solid like a rock. When a gentle, wind blows it away. Blowing it, to it's next destination. Waiting, alone for another leaf to come along, and talk to, until it's blown away again, to it's next destination.

Sugar,
I love how you can take an ordinary thing and spin it to be beautiful. I just read "Nightfall" two seconds ago, and I loved that one too. This leaf poem's got a real similarity towards life. I might be overanalyzing, but I think it symbolizes people, when we wait and wait for someone to come along and keep us company. That's just my thoughts on the subject =)
Fabulous write as usual!
Love Joy and Peace,
Jelly |
