A Homes Abandoned Core

Silent oak floors snuggle beneath years of blanketed dust Occasionally awakening to a droplet of sunlight or two The windows give way to natures whispers and gusts Bringing offers of nourishment with mornings dew.
Antique papered walls painfully peel in their nights Showing heightened years of wear and tear Bearing the darkened notches of a homes sight The eyes that clutch stories of all captured there.
Strong families with high richly estates Murders of those once thought deprived Young loves exploring behind closed gates The homeless on which sadness thrived.
It's all buried here within these walls The chamber of a homes abandoned core Forgotten tales confined within its halls Permanently etched beneath a dusty oak floor.

Yes, I really liked this one. I've often had the same thoughts in some of the homes I have lived in myself. Your imagery is wonderful "Antique papered walls painfully peel" for example. Very nice,
