Speak straight to me from your heart
Share with me all of your hopes and dreams
Cant you see I care and have from the start?
Dont you know what this really means?
Every time that a tear has fell
I have been there to wipe it away
And every time youve drawn inside your shell
Ive been there to show you again the light of day
Ive been there through the good times and the bad
Even on your worst day I was there
Can you see the feelings that I have?
The ones with you I want to share.
Im scared to let you know how I feel
Afraid it will change what we have now
Everything is just so very surreal
Ive gotta let you know someday somehow.
I promise to never make you cry
And to be there through it all
Not once will I ever question you why
Instead just catch you every time you fall
Hold you in my arms and love you night and day
Protect you from things that will hurt you
One day I will have the chance to say
Babe its always been me loving you
I can only hope you feel the same way.
