Serenity Inside Me

Contributed by HelixGreg on Wednesday, 1st October 2003 @ 03:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

Sensuously my serenity
Pulls from deep inside me
Everafter, from here on in
Bequeath this, my unholy sin

My love for the aesthetical
The dearly imperfect toll
Beauty and cesspool of intangible
Brewing anger and sadness ample

Explicit ominous feral rage
Locked in this endless cage
Is my serenity all gone?
To God Im like a pawn

The light shines in my face
Blinding my inner space
I run recoil and recover
Calm sent from the mother

Escape this admonished battle
Unjustified truth to tackle
Going on without hate
Tempting all that decide fate

When all comes down to this
The nameless make it bliss
Throwing through the thespian
Lest all life boil to jesting.

I read your poem and saw the word "Cesspool" and "thespian". Cesspool is in my poem "A Moment's Distress" and "Thespian" is my IMPROV nickname. So basically I really like your choice of words =) That's my random thought............
It was a great poem, I enjoyed it!
