I'm Through.

I got your letter today, it was truly grand.
It seemed like when you wrote it
there was a cockroach on your hand..
There were little piles of dung about how you learned to change..
Little lies that belong at home in a homeless puppy's mange..
"Just wanted to say I love you and I will be back home soon.."
The only place that is home for you has lock-downs beginning at noon.
Blood is thicker than water, some old-time writer said...
The healing cells in this bloody bond have just been declared dead.
"I can do nothing but accept full responsibility for my own mistakes."
Well about 14 times before and when my help was knocking at your door,
that promise I could take.
"I like 'Suga Suga' it's the *****! It's playing on the radio now!"
That's the best you could come up with when I just wanted to know "HOW?!"
"I Made a new new songs and a CD and I need some place to record it at."
Well, you could have had a record deal with a beautiful voice like that.
The mother that gave you that voice so sweet is damaged by your lies and deceit.
The sister that gave you a shoulder to lean on and all the help in the world is gone.
The brother that once ran the streets with you fears running into you on the street.
The brother that once looked up to you now hopes he never becomes like you
You could have had a better life you could have had a wealthy life..
But still you give your "loved ones" strife
Now we don't want you in our lives..
To hear your name gives me the hives .
Once my sister, now no more. Now she's become the "Cookies" whore..
For 20 dollars you'll sell your sister then tell your mom how much you miss her..
That sister that I once envied, I began to pity.
The sister I once pitied, I now despise.
Maybe it's because of all your lifelong heartfelt Do-good lies?

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
