Most of my life, I would sit alone at night and cry,
Alone is such a lonely word......a single word,
Still I would wonder why?
Why life for some can be so happy everyday?
They are the most fortunate ones in every way.
I long to be one of the fortunate ones , to be happy everyday.
I need someone to put his arms around me,
To hold me oh so tight......To kiss me softly upon my lips,
Someone to lay beside me to keep me warm on the coldest of Winters nights.
He would always be there to ask me, "How was your day?"
To have him look into my eyes in a very loving way.
Feeling his heart beating so close to mine.......
To have our love withstand the test of time.
We would go for walks on Brisk Autumn days.
In Summer we would walk on the beach ,to watch the waves roll in.
Winter, we'd build a Snow Man, maybe have a snowball fight............
Watching the Quiet Storm...........gently falling to the ground, under a full Moonlight.
When Spring arrives, we will welcome all of Natures Beauty Anew!
All four Seasons a welcome sight......as long as I have you.
This is how I wish my life could be.
With someone who would simply .............love me for me.
To share our loving days for the rest of our lives.
The key word is "Together", together we would always stay.
An honest love a trusting love..........forever and a day.
Could this be a Dream?

Oh Glo as I read your lovely poem
I couldn't help but think of my life.....
There is a place you will never be alone.
Just hang on to his hand, and he will do all the things you have asked him to!
You will never ever be alone again....you can enjoy everything every single day, and he will always be there, just reach out your hand, he'll guide you and love you in every land!
So many years I've toiled all alone without a man, but not without a love...he was always there to share!
Beautiful Poem....but don't be alone...it's just not fair!
