I once believed an illusion
my life in constant confusion
I raged in my soul
trying to fill the hole
hunting and screaming
not finding the meaning
my life what for
whos keeping score
then rock bottom i hit
alone in my ____
nowhere to turn
for love i yern
by grace i was saved
someone had prayed
my life worth more
God? outside my door?
he waited for me
the light i now see
