My Dying Bride

Contributed by smg on Friday, 3rd October 2003 @ 07:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

My dyin' bride
Comes through the sea,
And she's more white
Than one can be.

You,my beloved girl,
Please always come to me,
When angel you will be
Or just a lovely ghost.

The radio plays your favourite song,
I help it sound louder,
While calling your name,
But you aren't now here..

A girl is crossing the street,
From behind she looks like you,
But when I see her face
I wake up from my dream
Remembering you're gone
From me, forever...

It's so unfair,
The spring of my tears
Has lost its words,
And you,d'you care?

In a cemetery there's a cross
With your name written on,
That's the place where I call you
All days,all nights...

Goodbye my loving maiden,
The Earth is empty without you,
Except my heart agonising
Filled by hatred against faith.

All I want from God is you,
Daily I ask and I beg Him,
But,who knows,maybe He loves you
Too much to send you back to me.

From the beyonds
Of fantasy,
My dying bride
Comes through the sea...

this reminds me of bravheart, when he's on his deathbed and staring out in to the crowd, seeing his dead bride gracefully watching... yea, this is some good stuff! kudos! ;0) -daniel
