Hi, I'm Mr. Hermie
And I live in the sea
Come to the beach
And visit with me
My little home
well, tis nice n cosy
in you can't come
so please, don't be nosy
I am very small
so watch where you tread
follow my tracks
and see where I've fed
Please children, don't touch
as fragile I am
I'm not quite as tough
As my cousin the Clam
You can watch all you like
and give a smile, I will
if you just sit there
and please........ very still.

I see the crab fishing trip from the other day brought inspiration. :-)
I enjoyed this a great deal, reminds me of hours spent by rockpools both as a child and an adult!
Shore life can be wonderfully mesmerising.
