Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round THEM

Contributed by Steeleyes on Monday, 6th October 2003 @ 09:54:26 AM in AEST
Topic: political

THESE are the WMDs BUSH created
The Wasted, the Mutilated, the Dead

Tie a yellow ribbon round THEM
You cold and callous men
Tell them what they died for
In your nasty dirty little war

Oh yes, I remember now
The imminent threat!
That holy cow
Or should that be bull?
A whole nation you tried to fool

'Iraq HAS WMDs!' you said
Chemical, Biological and Nuclear
Ready to use at a moments notice
Spreading death and spreading fear

And now what do we see?
Well, very little actually
A big fat zero in the sand
Not a weapon in all the land

Yes you say, well he had intentions
But that's just the latest of your contentions
You'll say anything you think will fly
Because you're caught now in a lie

Tell the dead kids of Iraq
Why it was necessary to attack
About all the WMDs in your mind
All the ones that they can't find

/

So tell these dead kids what you did it for
Your callous, nasty, sleazy war
Tell us all your LATEST lies
Hoping we don't recognise
All your dirty filthy little tricks
Played by a band of malicious pricks
Tell us all your LATEST story
Make it scary and 'truly' gory
What threat can you NOW invent
To protect your brain-dead president?
As the US economy goes down the drain
And every nation feels the pain
This new world you made sinks to die
As the White House creeps lie and lie
Tell THESE kids it was all worth while
To slaughter hope and innocent smile
Tell THEM about the imminent threat
Tell THEM you now have no regret
Or intend to stop all your lies to tell
May YOU drop dead NOW and rot in HELL

I loved this except for the last line. I loved the WMD's wasted, mutilated, and dead. Keep on writing man I totally agree with you.
