Deep Sleep

Topic: Grief

I think I'm gonna lay down,
maybe go into a deep sleep.
I may not be awake for about a week.
So just let me sleep till I dream
all the dreams that I have dreamt.
I didn't mean the things that I did,
so maybe I'll just leave the world a bit.
Please don't get mad at me, for what I did
was wrong or maybe right, only God
and I know, but I really don't know why.
So please just let me sleep for a while,
maybe I'll get over it, maybe I won't.
So just leave me alone and let me
get some sleep. I see tears in my dreams
and I wonder why you all are crying. Is it
because I did something wrong? Did something
right, or is it because I fell into a deep sleep
and I won't be in your sight? When you
try and wake me up, please have a smile
on your face, for what I seen in my dreams
was alot of disgrace. I thank you and love
you all, for letting me fall,
in a deep, deep peaceful sleep.
