Anger
As I sit here and think about all that is going on, I can't help but feel the anger boil up inside, Why do we have to do this now, Why do we have to be the "good" guy all the time?
"Just call on us," we seem to say, "Call big brother we will save the day," I don't want you to call on us, Big brother will not save you every time.
I hate it that our men have to die, It kills me to think that people have to wait, I have to wait, Can't we find peace?
Peace, what a deceiving word, We use it in so many ways, We say "Peace to you," when we leave church, But then go home and battle this plague.
Hate causes war, causes anger, Why do we have to do this now, I can't seem to understand, All I held dear is stripped away to make room for anger and fear.
