Angels in the outfields
Catch me when I fall
Time is standing still now
My heart won't beat at all
Love has taken a wrong turn
Into a labyrinth wall
I can't find my way out
Can you hear my call?
I can see my soul now
Drifting far away
The one that I'm seeking
Will never look my way
Angels in the outfield
Catch me when I fall
The stars are all misaligned
So my destiny won't last at all.
Two worlds so far apart
So distant yet so close
My heart is right next to yours
Like a thorn on a rose
Angels are all watching
The distance in between
The bond that we share
Can hardly be seen
Sometimes I can't see it
Invisible to my eyes
Leaving me confused and dazed
Beneath the starlit skies.
