Tis the story of the charming knight and his fair maid.

I love you more then words can say,
although here I stand trying to convey
that which can not possibly be portrayed.
So here Ill stand time and time again,
with these feeble words that display
such an insult to what my heart seeks to say.
For a love like yours I have prayed,
so on the alter was my heart laid,
and then,
like a knight on his crusade,
you strode in and with out delay
you bade this lonely maid
that your love would last forever and a day.
So now I promise my heart to you,
and from that promise I shall never refrain.
I give my word that never shall my love be seen to sway.
Forever will I cherish our time together each and everyday.
tis the story of the charming knight and his fair maid.
So here I stand once again,
My story told but still my love still not rightly conveyed.
All I can hope is that my charming knight can see this cascade
Of my love that falls on him everyday,
But yet my words will never be ably to portray.
Tis the story of the charming knight and his fair maid.

Smashing write! I love the whole knight and princess thing, it's just so fantastic. Like, back then, love was simple and pure, and when you were in love you knew it right away. So much more primitive than today, much more beautiful. Lovely write!
