Tears fall from your eyes I try to kiss away your sorrow But the gentle touch of my lips As they brush against your eyelids Are not enough to stop the rain Pouring out from your soul I wrap you up in my arms And run my fingers Through your soft hair Whispering words of comfort Sobs echoing in my shoulder It breaks my heart to see the pain Written all over your face And etched on every tear I brush my hand against your cheek And wipe away the ponds That have formed in the crevices Of your delicate face Let it all out my angel For soon the storm shall pass A smile shall once again form And brighten the lines of your face Lighting up the room with your beauty Looking up youll see Im still here Ive weathered the storm with you as always I will, eager to see the smile I know will always shine through And though I love you when youre smiling Know I love you just as much When youre frowning Even more, because I know in my heart Thats when, my love, you need it most
