Shadows of the Mind

Contributed by wind_blaze on Tuesday, 14th October 2003 @ 06:03:26 PM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

The white orbs of the heaven
Lighted my path, into the shrouded darkness,
The clouded visions of the velvet black,
Danced and twirled admits the fiery night
As my feet, followed the wishes of my heart
Walking against the howling gale
The raging rain, engraved deeper
Into my mind, till the questions
Of those in the distant past, rise
Admits the flames to cloud my foresight.

The darkened waves of the endless blue
Splashed, upon the placid beach
Reaching across, through the forces of time
Where thousands lay dead and dying
Buried, far beyond the shores
Of eternity, the stinging water
Ebbing, through the shadows of darkness,
Which has once stood tall through
Suffering and pain, for the glorious
Future, once laid unfulfilled.

From across the horizon, rise
Among the golden rose, the guiding
Radiant light, illuminated by the rosy glow,
The weeping rage of the hateful darkness
Subside, as I look at my life through
The eyes of those long gone, to preserve
My future, upon which I looked to end,
Mystique nature of their actions shattered
Into my heart, the understanding of those
United against a common goal, shown
Through my mind, changing whom,
I was destined to become.

I dunno WHY this is the least read poem. I think everyone should read it. Hope your friend's not still thinking of ending her life. Love and hope to her, whoever she is. Bye!
