I heard a voice
calling out
as if by choice
outside of me
I heard a cry
chilling thought
didn't I try
woundering of sound
burning feel
mind leaving
nerves of steel
tempting fate
trying so hard
was it the sound
spinning round and round
why now this
tender lips
sweet perfume
long lasting kiss
years to late
odd dreams
silly schemes
emptiness resides
melts my heart
goes up in flame
only lasting pain
returning girl
youth has died
lost in past
dreams will last
fate is cruel
but not as cruel as you
