It started out so good
You know my needs so well
You gave the right amount of tenderness
To balance out my much needed punishment
I wished I could give you more
My time I have so little to spare
My life is in constant turmoil
Feel like Im being split in two
Until I can be only yours
Until I can freely give myself
The best thing I can do for you
Is to say goodbye now
I will never replace you with another
Your lessons I have learned well
I only wish I could stay here with you
But I must first learn to be true
