Gracefully she stares
at his sapphire gaze
and marvels with her praise
Meagerly she stumbles
for words to speculate
of his need to isolate
Impulsively she reaches
for a touch of his hand
wanting only to understand
Lovingly she embraces
his bold, engaging kiss
and the warmth of his caress
Carefully she touches
the edges of his heart
it's the only place to start
Patiently she arrives
at the place his love resides
and he's pleasantly surprised
