As I stare into the darkness
I see a distant light
It seems so many miles away
and I feel a gnawing fright
Like a sudden storm that's passing through
The waves come crashing in
From whence it came, I have no clue
I feel it stirring from within
To the window of my soul, it seems
The panes are slamming shut
I'm drowning in my sea of pain
And the waves just won't let up
As someone's beating down the door
My heart is racing fierce
Want to get out but I've locked the gate
A whisper screams in my ears
One last desperate gasp for help
My final resort is a shout
"When will this sea of sorrow end?
Won't someone help me out?!"

Don't wait for others, my friend, it's only you who can help and save yourself from the claws of sorrows. Be hopeful, have faith in HIM and never get disappointed.
