Staring into darkness with a disease that cant be cured Open lights that stand still to sit softly near the curb No one told you of this plan to make you sweetly cry A plague inflicted to only ones who surely meant to die And if this cross upon your grave starts to peel away the paint Whispering to a broken eye to look upon a solemn saint So another choice is complete to the deathly glowing stare Upon a crumpled piece of yarn thats sitting upon your chair And a small hook that wished could hold such a massive weight A feeling of such completion, such a wonderful feeling state The thunder of your alley gives off another city light One that cant be fixed to our changing civil rights The newspapers in the corner as you crawl into your bed Headlines read of such good news that somehow infest your head Another sun has risen and another suns declined Yearning for a sunlight that you can no longer find Trapped into this jail cell for years and years and years A forgotten sink of checkers has been lined within a tear And so a song plays out of these speakers singing bare and dry To conceal another hidden truth, to conceal another lie And the pillow is becoming wet as you point towards the north To hide another mystery as a knockings on your door Everything is alright, everything will be okay If only this yarn and hook could support me for a day And Ill lie upon this cotton into a tree of dying leaves Just so I can close my eyes and get a night of sleep And in this ground that I so love Ill toss and turn and shift Write a letter to a man who doesnt even exist And Ill write upon my arm and burn into his name A disorder that has left me to seek his only blame Ill curse upon a mailbox that has failed to take his form And remember all these memories that fade to keep me warm Your picture that lies next to me with incinerating eyes And the bristles of this pine tree reminds me of your smile Ill wake into a moonrise as you swiftly start to rest Sing upon a song to you that weakens to the west And Ill throw rocks upon your window as you calmly dream Until the light breaks through, another flashing beam And as you lift your tired head to the rising of the dawn An illusion of a whisper that screams, Where are you now my Shawn? Ill call you just to hear your voice but I wont say a word Cause every phrase that I have said you have already heard And Ill draw another picture to depict this overwhelming thought Of the memories that stick to the fridge that we either stole or bought And I walked around your corner and went round a thousand times Wondering when youd take your steps to become another ailing mime I took a knife and etched your face into this sunken wooden floor Hoping just to pass the time as my eyes were red and sore I lit a candle and the scent somehow it recollected thoughts of you And the clock that hung upon my wall showed me nothing new And I kissed upon an ocean that had been swept beneath the sea From the frail distance I heard a voice call out to me A poignant ballad of a man who tried in every way But it was another misleading lie that I knew would never stay So I crept into the corner thats so deserving of your face And for once a hook and yarn supported me to watch you walk in place I slid beneath a mountain to the point of no return And I stared into the sunlight so that my eyes would burn So I sang upon the tree we had planted years ago The leaves of cotton had dispersed yet no one ever knows I came across a butterfly that had such brilliant colored hues And its radiance and failure reminded me of you Did you know that I once waited outside for you to rise Just so I could be burned so deeply from your vaguely tinted eyes But I threw my hands in the air and started walking on a road That stretched for miles beneath a tunnel that had remained unknown So I turned on the radio and they were playing your rancid song Another rejoicing agony thatd been here but now gone So I slept on the carpet floor that had cut inside me deep And I laid for just three hours admitting this defeat After only six years now this denial I overcame But when looking into the mirror I cried for theres no change So scribbled in my notebook containing thousands of petty words That showed me of despair, so nothing had been learned So I suppose Ill walk back home to face another anesthetic night To live in a sinking journal as this feeling wins another fight

Our lives are sometimes waving left side then again in other side.....The imagination and the game with shadows are described very nicely....KEEP GOING.... |

I love this writing, in so many ways similar to myself. I can't say anything else than it is so remarkable. -res- |
