Take a moment to remember those who couldn't be here with us today.
Take a moment to revisit those faces who fought for their lives
Take a moment to honour those who defied captivity in order to taste a slice of freedom and life.
Take a moment to refocus on those who were betrayed and perished in the crossfire
Take a moment to commemorate those who were killed without even a hint of a warning
Take a moment to imagine what it would be like if they had survived
Take a moment to pray for all those who couldn't make it but deserve to be remembered
Take just a moment for these fallen comrades
Because one moment,
One moment is all it takes
To resurrect them in our hearts
And keep them alive.
