I lost it

Contributed by twinkletoes on Monday, 20th October 2003 @ 12:33:20 AM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

I wrooted it and I lost it
it was a good'un to
it was about this dumb bloke
who made this-rippa' brew.

I wrote it on some paper
that i found in the shed outback
it were about 50 verses long
but i remember the bloke's name were Jack.

It told about how he brewed this grog
the illegal kind (you know)
and how he got in all sorts of strife
like on that Crocodile show.

Yeah mate it were a beauty
it had a ripper end
how the still blew up and the town got drunk
and Jack went round the bend.

Oh well this will do
it's such a cryin' bloody shame
that I wrooted that bloody poem
and the only thing I remember is 'is name!

LOL!
Light hearted fare! Interrupting the slang was most of the fun! I like!
