Injured by an invisible foe
Left behind to bleed alone
Cant keep the energy inside
Barely have enough to get thru the day
Only to pretend everything is okay
Nothing to spare for something new
No one wants to see thru this faade
Afraid of what they will find
The days keep passing by
Nothing much really happens
They all look the same
Slowly time fades away
Blending all days into one
Cant find the strength to make it stop
To seize even a single moment
Unable to take hold of fate
Caught in this web of apathy
Not dealing with whats wrong
Cant dig deep enough to try
Theres no force to spend on self
The wounded soul will not heal
Not while living this lie
This cant go on forever
Growing weaker with each phony smile
