Miscellaneous memories drift in my mind A Plethora of emotions that feel so unkind Haunted by faces, a collectiveness mocking The vultures are gathering, mourners are flocking Everyones kicking me now that I'm down Upon my bloodied face a smirk replaces a frown The champion within I am destined to reign Vengeance and destruction flow through my veins My legions of doom march to their fate Driven by destiny, guided by hate I ponder their thinking, are they really scared? They perceive me as ruthless, one who never cared If only they knew that I bleed every emotion Seeking revenge its my only notion Forgive me my lord as I commit a sin Brothers in arms let battle begin But this is my life and its all that I know So I bid you farewell its on with the show

Wow! This is actually a really good poem. I sound surprised because I don't usually like war type poetry but I really enjoyed reading this one.
A great piece of work!

So this is the manner of the deaths of proud men-crucified not on gold crosses-but impaled on a stake of humble tin. |
