trapped in a world with nothing to gain
lost in a world with bitter cold seasons
endless darkness and endless rain
a not a single sound of reason
when the empty halls fill your mind
when you see life as nothing at all
look for hope and you'll find
yourself there standing tall
when the darkness creeps over you
and a cold feeling sets in
thinking you can't make it through
knowing you can't win
there's hope for you and me
if your just willing to wait
you'll finally be happy
without a single feeling of hate
at the end of the tunnel
there is always light
you just have to continue crawling
even in the darkest night
