Along the hidden secrets
The minute trail of blood
The silent wail of chances lost
Of things that never was
Deep within the fear-laden heart
Far beyond the blood-lit trace
A void exists for those who know
The darker self beneath the face
A darker side
The shadowed face
The wone who weeps for the
lost race
The void protects him
He holds it dear
And backs into it
The place men fear
The unlit tavern
His secret home
He lives within me
My unseen clone

This is hardly shallow could have gone a bit deeper, but very dark and spooky. Very good imagery. I loved the 2nd stanza.
