I look a the stars in the sky
as they wink back at me.
I wonder what they hold...
Do they posses the truth?...
In those orbs of light,
can we find the answers
to life's questions
or solutions
to life's problems.
Why are they there?
to make us think...
about existence, about life?
Or are they just merely there...?
shining their light
in the dark blue sky...
the landscape of the universe
Do they have a meaning at all?
have we given them one over time?
How is it that they got there...
spread out over the black space
pinning back that darkness
