my soul rises with the sun
up into the clouds
breaking with the thunder
falling with the rain
sending more pain
like a face with no name
who am I? where do I belong?
my life is a cloud
drifting through the sky
asking only a question of why
like a petal falling
from a beautiful flower
dying a slow death
my soul cries out
for someone to catch me
but no-one is there
...then it happened
you stood there
catching me before i broke
holding me
teaching me
loving me
you came out of the darkness
and showed me how
to live
to love
and to laugh
